Car Crashes Through the Doors of the ER That Was Transporting a Gunshot Victim

The driver was not the gunshot victim, but rather someone driving him to the emergency room.  It has to be a loud awakening for the staff at the ER for sure, and sadly the victim didn’t make it.  The article stated the car drove right through the double door entrance and almost sounds like something we see in movies but perhaps not in real life, until today.  BD

SCHENECTADY -- A car carrying a gunshot wound victim crashed into the emergency room doors at Ellis Hospital McClellan Street Campus Sunday morning, imagepolice said.

The victim later died.

Police said the shooting happened before 1:30 a.m. on the 900 block of Crane Street near The Eldorado Bar.

Officers responded to the area but were unable to locate any victim.
